— aka Sid Wick and James Bennison — Award winning Manchester-based double-act, specialising in character comedy, word play, musically inept song, and trademark bizarre dribble. A true entourage of alternative surrealism.
Having won the Your Name Here Comedy Award in March, and completed their second UK tour in October, Sid and James are currently working on a new dedicated music show for the Greater Manchester Fringe Comedy Festival  (contrary to popular demand).

Slap & Giggle currently run a monthly night at Apotheca bar in Manchester, where they workshop material, along with showcasing some of the country’s finest comedy acts.

Sid and James recently finished a tour of their 2012 show ReTrial which featured at (amongst others) Buxton Fringe, Edinbuirgh Fringe, Preston Tringe, and Harrogate Comedy Festivals.

Sid and James are currently working on their 2013 shows Religion and an as-of-yet untitled sketch show (coming soon!), along with hosting a monthly show in Manchester, putting their 2013 tour dates together, and recording weekly podcasts of their progress and subsequent failure.

Sid and James’ first album of “unrecordable” songs, The Zoo Sessions has sold over 200 units. Their second album The Disappointing Second Album was released in December 2011.
